Alexis is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University and Watson Institute semester accelerator program for fall 2021. He spent 5 years living on the streets and feels fortunate to have been given the opportunity to leave street life and receive an education. Alexis’ hope is to help other street kids have the opportunity to achieve their dreams. He is excited that Sheer Love Rwanda is providing that opportunity for children and their families in Kigali.

James Mugarura

James is a member of INDAMIRWA a national civic education training for the Rwanda youths in diaspora and local youths who excel in national examinations. At Sheer Love Rwanda, he works in finance and student education affairs. Through Cornerstone Leadership Academy where vulnerable kids are given an opportunity to free education, James developed a passion for helping vulnerable kids. James is a believer in transformation and hopes to be able to help the kids of Sheer Love Rwanda receive the education they deserve.

Adam Bizimana Donat Wilson

Adam is a former street child who spent 5 years living on the streets after his father passed away when he was 13. Adam’s kind heart and life experience make him a perfect match for Sheer Love Rwanda. He is passionate about helping street children leave life on the streets and return to school. Adam works as the Family and Children’s Coordinator at Sheer Love Rwanda and is responsible for the management of the Learning Center.

Eugenie Gahongayire

Eugenie, affectionately known as Mama Fiette, is a mother of 6 and a well-respected member of the community leaders in the village where Sheer Love Rwanda is located. She works as a Family and Children’s Coordinator and her connection to the families and community is invaluable in her work at Sheer Love Rwanda Eugenie grew up as an at-risk child and realizes the support Sheer Love Rwanda provides to the children is essential to their success in school. Eugenie’s smile is infectious and warms all hearts at the Sheer Love Rwanda.
