In 2017, Vanessa’s life took a turn when she joined Sheer Love Rwanda while studying in primary school. This organization, dedicated to supporting street children, recognized the genius within Vanessa and countless others like her. They believed that every child, regardless of their circumstances, had the potential to contribute significantly to the community.
Sheer Love Rwanda’s mission was clear: to provide resources that support street children to reintegrate into the community, support their education, and empower their families. They aimed to guide and support these children in weaving their dreams into the fabric of reality.
Vanessa embraced this opportunity with open arms. She channeled her resilience, honed on the streets, into her studies. Her discipline and dedication propelled her to become one of the top students in her class. Now, she is in high school 4 at Rwamagana Leaders School, ready to pursue her dream of becoming a businesswoman.
